Of 10 Swedish Landrace ewes inseminated twice at the same oestrus with 0.25 ml frozen and thawed semen to which 300 mu g PGF2 alpha /ml had been added, 70% lambed v 30% of controls inseminated with unsupplemented semen. The number of lambs born/ewe lambing averaged 1.6 for the supplemented group and 1.3 for the unsupplemented females.
