Use of flea antigen in treatment of feline flea-allergy dermatitis

Twenty-nine cats with flea allergy (also known as miliary dermatitis and eczema) were each treated with 3 doses of a commercial flea antigen. Flea control was recommended to the owners. Three months after the last injection, the owners were asked for the results; 75% reported good to excellent results, 20% fair results and 5% no improvement.
