Notices on flea infestation in the East German district of Rostock. From sendings of citizens and own examinations 9 species of fleas were found out. Ctenocephalides felis was the most frequent species, followed Ceratophyllus gallinae and Pulex irritans. Most of the sendings came from cities. Pests and flea control dominated in the months August to October.
