Vaccine containing aluminium hydroxide adsorbent was prepared from tissue cultures of inactivated IBR virus strain. The antigenic effect of the vaccine and the development of antibody response were studied on susceptible calves. Immunization was performed subcutaneously using 3 ml doses. A part of the group was revaccinated 21 days later. The vaccine applied in the herd infected with IBR or for the purpose of prophylaxis provided protection under field conditions.
