The effect of tetracycline hydrochloride, nystatin, streptomycin and griseofulvin was studied on Aspergillus awamori, Cunninghamella bertholletiae, Fusarium chlamydosporum, Penicillium simplicissimum and Rhizopus arrhizus. Nystatin and griseofulvin inhibited growth in all cases. Amylase synthesis in vitro was retarded by the antibiotics.
