In the present paper we describe the cloning of a cDNA, coding for human leucocite interferon type A, prepared from mieloblastoma mRNA, we describe the strategy for expression of the protein in Escherichia coli. A synthetic adaptor was fused to the interferon cDNA followed by the promoter and ribosome binding site from trp operon. Interferon production was detected by a minicell system.
