Serotype L, M. columborale and M. columbinum are recognised pigeon species of mycoplasma. In Britain the recovery from pigeons of serotype L (M. columbinasale) has been indicated by Sinclair (1980) and M. columborale by MacOwan and others (1981). This communication reports the recovery of both columbinum and columborale from a small sample of feral pigeons in Britain.
