Taxonomic and ecological and physiological characteristics of Aspergillus fumigatus

The distribution and intraspecies characteristics of A. fumigatus, and its ability to grow at an elevated temperature, were studied. The cellulolytic and proteolytic activities of numerous isolates of different origin and their capacity for growth on lignins, oil, carbohydrates, toxigenic properties and biocorrosion ability are described. Data from literature are also discussed.
