30 ejaculates of 14 boars were frozen in large straws, and were used to inseminate 126 sows on 3 farms. Insemination was carried out twice at 24-h interval. Each dose contained approx. 1.3 X 109 motile spermatozoa and 1.7 X 109 spermatozoa with normal acrosomes. 67% of sows farrowed, with an av. litter size of 8.5.
