There are numerous cases when scientific research and laboratory workers are infected by Strongyloides during experimental infection of laboratory animals by their larvae. This permits to conclude that the larvae of Strongyloides westerni, Strongyloides ransomi and Strongyloides papillosus are able to pass through the skin of workers when they accidentally get on the hands and cause certain symptoms. There is a possibility of spontaneous infection by the larvae of the above-mentioned helminths of the cattle-breeding workers who work on the farms infected by Strongyloides.
