The most important nematodes occurring in domesticated animals in the Netherlands, classified by parasitological relationships, are reviewed. Their morphology, life-cycles, incidence and pathogenicity are briefly discussed. The anthelmintics used against each species of nematode are stated in order of their effectiveness.
