Of 101 dermatophytes isolated, 57 were Trichophyton rubrum, 27 T. mentagrophytes, 2 T. violaceum, 1 T. soudanense, 11 Epidermophyton floccosum, 1 Microsporum langeronii [M. audouinii], 1 M. canis and 1 M. gypseum. Findings according to the sex and age of the patients and parts of the body affected are analysed.
