From 1019 cases of ringworm examined during 1960-69, Epidertnophyton floccosum (102), Microspomm canis (282), M. gypseum (9), Trlchophyton mentagrophytes (150), T. rubrum (309), T. schoenleinii (4) and T. verrucosum (29) were isolated. The relative frequency of the spp. varied during the period. Their distribution with respect to the clinical site is described.
