Amongst the mycoses studied were those caused by Aspergillus, dermatophytes, Alternaria, Candida, Blastomyces, Cryptococcus, phycomycetes, Sporothrix and Prototheca. Clinical aspects of the mycoses and sampling, preservation and examination of samples are discussed. Method of culture, their identification and diagnosis are also presented.
