Anisakidae nematoides (45) were removed from the stomach of a young Juan Fernandez fur seal, captured for biological studies at Alejandro Selkirk Island. (33.degree. 47' S, and 80.degree. 46' W.). The smallest specimens were Anisakis sp. Dujardin, 1845 and the remaining worms were classified as Phocanema decipiens Myers, 1959. Six cestodes identified as Diphyllobothrium pacificum (Nybelin, 1931) Margolis, 1956 were collected from the last 3rd of the duodenum.
