A series of polyphenolic aminocarboxylic acid derivatives were designed and synthesized for removal of incorporated radio-actinides. Their chemical structures were confirmed by means of 1HNMR and elemental analyses. Results of preliminary animal experiments showed that most of these compounds were effective for removal of 234Thorium.
