120 femalefemale (commercial hybrid Zika), housed in a windowless shed and allowed 12-16 h light daily, were induced to ovulate using Receptal, were treated with a PGF2 alpha analogue (Illiren) 11 days after Receptal, and received another treatment with Receptal and AI on the 14th day. The CR of femalefemale given 0.5-1.0 ml PGF2 alpha was 88-100% for femalefemale aged 15-16 wk, and 100% for femalefemale aged 40 wk vs. 0% for femalefemale not given PGF2 alpha.
