Neurocirculatory dystonia developed in 62 patients with food toxinfections who were under observation. Symptoms of stimulation of the sympathetic or prasympathetic part of the vegetative nervous system and neurotic manifestations were predominant in two-thirds and functional disturbances of the cardiovascular system, including cardialagia, in one-third of the cases. Changes in the terminal part of the ECG ventricular complex were found in some of the patients. Detoxication therapy prescribed together with sedative agents proved to be effective.
