Dimilin at a dose of 0.375 mg AI/100 g of moist bran completely inhibited the development of instar I-II and partially instar III larvae. Altosid and Altozar (5.0-53.0 mg AI/sample) affecting larvae of instar III impaired the pupae from which no imago emerged. All 3 compounds were of low efficacy in the treatment of pupae.
