Regulator of insect development, dimilin, as an agent to control the larvae of blood-sucking mosquitoes in the northern taiga of the Baikal region on the route of the Baikal-Amur mainline

In water bodies of the Pribaikalie northern taiga, 25% wetting Dimilin powder inhibited the development of mosquito larvae of monocyclic Aedes spp. /ha in larvae of the III instar and causing death in the IV instar and pupae. A dose of 15 g/ha is effective for at least 20 days. A 25% wetting Dimilin powder may effectively regulate development of mosquito larvae of northern monocyclic species.
