Epizootics of Entomophthora aphidis and Cladosporium aphidis on sugar beet leaf aphids, favoured by high temps., rainfall and abundant dew, were observed in early July in the Ukraine. Mass death of sugar beet root aphids due to E. aphidis occurred in Sept.-Oct.
