Pneumomycosis in sheep and goats

Four cases of infection by suspected Aspergillus spp. in goats and 3 in sheep are reported from 18275 and 3946 slaughtered animals, respectively. These represented 1.57% of pulmonary pathological conditions in goats and 0.83% in sheep. The greyish-white raised lesions were 0.5-1 cm diam. and contained typical A.-type hyphae. No isolations were made.
