Fusel oil from potatoes was applied perorally or subcutaneously in Wistar rats. The experiments resulted in heavy damage of the liver, papillomas, and carcinomas of the oesophagus and the fore stomach. - Nach peroraler und subkutaner Applikation von Kartoffelfuselöl bei Ratten gelang es, neben schweren Leberparenchymschäden einen tumorigenen Effekt an Speiseröhre und Vormagen nachzuweisen.
