Permolecular fragments circulating in the blood, possessing thromboplastic activity are responsible for the existence of arterio-venous difference in the hemostatic potential, they cause changes in coagulation under the effects that are attended by the tissue damage or adrenalinemia. The existence of arterio-venous difference in the content of permolecular fragments depends on the capacity of the lungs to eliminate these fragments from the blood flow.
