The possibility of using coproporphyrin as a fluorescent label in fluorescence immunological analysis for virological studies was studied in an experiment with the epidemic strain of influenza virus A. The data obtained indicate that antibodies obtained to surface and internal proteins of influenza virus and labeled with the fluorescent label coproporphyrin may be used in fluorescence immunological analysis. Isolated coprophyrin-labeled Ig also retain their activity. The conjugates produced may be used in virological studies for the indication of small amounts of influenza virus using fluorescence immunological analysis.
