In May 1985, faecal examination of 7-day-old kid with diarrhoea revealed mixed Cryptosporidium parvum and Clostridium perfringens infection. The kid recovered with ampicillin and fluid therapy. This is the first report of cryptosporidiosis in a goat in the USA.
