Thirty seven brain specimens from dogs suspected for rabies were examined by microscopic, biological and fluorescent; antibody tests. While the results of biological and fluorescent antibody tests were same in 23 samples which were diagnosed positive by these tests, in seven of these brain samples (rabies positive) Negri bodies could not be demonstrated by microscopic examination.
