Two hybridoma cell lines (An1 and An2) were successfully established using Anisakis larvae (type I) from the viscera of Alaskan pollack. The antigen defined by An1 was distributed in the muscle cells and the Renette cells, but not in the digestive tract of Anisakis larvae. The An2-defined antigen was seen in the digestive tract as well as the muscle cells and was detected in the ES antigens by ELISA. SDS-PAGE and Western blotting showed that An1 immunoprecipitated an antigen of MW 34 000 and An2 antigens of MW 40 000 and 42 000.
