Anaplasmosis-II. Clinical cases of anaplasmosis in cattle, buffaloes and sheep

Symptoms and haematological changes in 19 cases of anaplasmosis in Danish Red and Jersey bulls, Sahiwal calves, buffaloes and sheep are described. The last two species were primarily suffering from ergot poisoning and strongylosis respectively. There was reduction in haemoglobin, erythrocyte count and packed cell volume in the affected animals. Treatment with tetracycline hydrochloride gave encouraging results.
