The authors report a case of gastroduodenal tuberculosis in a patient followed up for four years, and they recall how uncommon that affection is. They emphasize the difficulty of preoperative and even postoperative diagnosis, and the importance of a correct interpretation of anatomical lesions, that will limit the surgical procedure only to a biopsy.
