Even if a case presents with typical clinical picture of gastric malignancy including Virchow's gland enlargement, the rare possibility of a curable disease like gastric tuberculosis should be kept in mind and investigations should be done to exclude it. This is more so in a tropical country as ours where tuberculosis in general, and gastrointestinal in particular, is a common disease.
