Controlled analytical data, mortality index and weight gain demonstrated a significant toxicity of pirozadil in rats given high doses for 6 mo. The light toxic effects at very high doses were not considered important in organs or in animals. The toxic effects were similar at 3 and 6 mo. of treatment.
