The case of a 32-yr-old man is presented. C. albicans was isolated from urine, blood and catheter tip. At the time of the 1st positive blood culture the patient reported poor vision which improved with amphotericin B and 5-fluorocytosine therapy but the patient's condition became extremely poor and he died.
