Lymphocytes from bone marrow and thymus or bone marrow and lymph nodes were transplanted into rabbits sensitized to skin alloantigens. This caused a statistically significant acceleration in the skin allograft rejection. In experiments with transplantation of the lymph node and thymus cells the acceleration in the graft rejection was observed only when lymphocytes were introduced after a 7 day sensitization.
