Взаимодействие между простыми виниловымп эфирами и жидким сероводородом в присутствии следов сернистого ангидрида приводит к синтезу с количественными выходами а-алкоксиэтилмеркаптанов и а,х'-диалкоксидиэтилсульфидов. Изучение условий распада этих сульфидов, меркаптанов и ацильных производных меркаптанов позволяет сделать вывод о наличии сопряжения простых связей в системе.
