Data is presented on the application of small doses (from 0.01-0.05% with respect to paraffin in the mineral medium) of sugar beet stillage, maize extract and post-alcohol molasses stillage to increase the biomass of the yeast Candida tropicalis K-41 grown on oil paraffin. In this case, the additives of molasses, maize extract and stillage give an 8-11% rise in biomass on oil paraffin at the expense of the biologically active substances contained in them.
