The incidence of hepatosis dietetica (HD) among pigs submitted to the State Veterinary Serum Laboratory in Copenhagen in the period 1971-1974 is tabulated, together with the results of selenium determinations in liver and heart specimens. The Se concentrations differed significantly from those in 6-month-old normal pigs.
