The authors report treatment of 25 patients with a pentavalent antimonial drug, Neostibosan. A total dose of 8.45 g. was given intraven. over a period of 2 mos. Follow-up studies indicated that the drug had parasitotropic effects, but not enough to warrant its use in treatment of this disease.
