The treatment of murine typhus with para-aminobenzoic acid

The authors report beneficial results following treatment with p-aminobenzoic acid. The patients became asymptomatic and afebrile 3-4 days after the beginning of treatment, and the course of the disease was shortened. There was no evidence of toxicity.
