The treatment of burn with cod liver oil, sulfanilamide-sulfathiazole powder dressing

Cod-liver oil is poured on all the burned areas, followed by sprinkling of half-and-half sulfanilamide and sulfathiazole. Sterile gauze soaked in cod liver oil is applied and the burned areas are wrapped in a firm 2-inch bandage. The average time of healing of 2d degree burns was 12 1/2 days.
