Evaluation of the stability of methylcobalamine in gastric and intestinal juice

Methylcobalamin was stored at 37 deg C in gastric juice, intestinal juice and in 0.01 N NaOH. After 24 h, 96 or 97% of the original methylcobalamin was present, indicating that it is stable under these conditions. [In the methods the NaOH solution is stated to be pH 12, in the results pH 10].
