Efficacy of a thiabendazole past formulation to treat strongyle infections in horses

A 43% paste formulation of thiabendazole was administered by syringe into the mouth of 147 horses on four premises. A week later faecal egg counts were reduced by 93-100%. The horses readily accepted the syringe, and the ease and speed of administration are emphasized.
