Concurrent copper T insertion with medical termination of pregnancy in women with previous caesarean section delivery

Seventy six women who had concurrent intrauterine contraceptive device (IUCD) insertion and medical termination of pregnancy and whose previous pregnancy had ended in a caesarean section, and 76 control subjects whose previous pregnancy had ended in a normal vaginal delivery were studied. No significant differences were observed in the net cumulative events and closure rates per 100 women users in the two groups. There was no perforation or accidental pregnancy.
