Fluocinonide cream. in a variety of dermatoses

A double-blind trial of fluocinonide 0.05% in FAPG base versus hydrocortisone 0.5% was carried out for 14 days in 20 patients with various corticosteroid-responsive dermatoses. The drug preparations were applied unoccluded and assessed after two weeks. Final results show 18 patients having moderate to excellent improvement with fluocinonide versus 11 with hydrocortisone, adding further support to previous studies on the clinical efficacy of fluocinonide.
