The clinical response of six steroid responsive dermatoses to a new corticosteroid, fluocinonide, is presented. The inherent potency of this compound has been enhanced by careful attention to scientific formulation of its bases. The specifically tailored bases result in excellent therapeutic activity obviating the need for cumbersome occlusive techniques.
