Case report of a 47 years old female patient with a history of ulcer disease, treated with steroids, aminophylline, and ß-adrenergic broncholytic drugs for chronic asthma. An acquired double pylorus was found endoscopically in 1980. H2-receptor blocking agents, antacids and/or pirenzepine eased ulcer symptoms. However fresh ulcerations were demonstrated in follow-up endoscopies, one of which causing finally a perforation of the acquired pyloric septum.
