A series of 1,2,3-triazolo(5,4-e)1,2,4-triazolo(1,5-c)pyrimidine derivatives (3a-g; 4-6), containing aralkyl chains on N-7 and N-8 positions, were synthesized and tested as antagonists in receptor binding and in vitro functional assays to evaluate their potency for A-2A compared with A-1 adenosine receptors.
