The aim of this paper is an attempt to show up the possible variations of latencies of the waves of brainstem auditory evoked potentials (SP), in daily practice, without actual otoneurological pathology. The AA. made this study in 62 normal hearing ears from healthy young people with the BSP derived tracings at several intensities of stimulation (60, 75 and 90 db) with the help of two different equipments. They considered the mean and standard latency deviations of I, III and V waves and their intervals and found out that the maximum and minima values were compatible with any otoneurological pathology, that they could't prove afterwards.
