In a group of patients suffering from several otic diseases the auditory thresholds were investigated through brainstem evoked potentials and the results, classified in 2 groups, were studied statistically. In the 1st group, the interval wave I-V and the latency concerning the intensity were studied. In the 2nd group, the same parameters were analyzed in respect to the intensity of the responses and the difference of the intensity and the threshold. A better correlation and also a lower margin of error to the responses were seen in the 2nd group.
