Myco-Polycid in the treatment of skin mycoses

One-hundred patients (49 women and 51 men) with different types of skin mycoses were treated with Myco-polycid preparation in the form of cream and tincture. In 86% of cases good results were achieved. The results were best in mycoses caused by Microsporon canis, Malasezzia furfur and Trichophyton mentagrophytes. The most effective method of treatment was application of the fluid form of the drug twice daily until disappearance of inflammation. Then cream was applied.
